Movin Mobile Mechanic is run by Gold Coast Patrols & Mechanical (ABN 69 949 440 723), 11 Ern Harley Drive, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220. This page explains what we collect when you use this site or book with us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you book, request a quote, order a pre-purchase inspection or contact us we collect your name, phone number, email, address (so we can come to you), and your vehicle's details including rego. Our website also keeps standard visitor statistics (pages visited, device type, rough location) through Google Analytics, which uses cookies.
Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads use visitor statistics and clicks on our call and WhatsApp buttons to measure advertising results and optimise ads; a click does not confirm a completed call. Direct click measurement is disabled where consent is required or your region cannot be confirmed, and honours recorded opt-outs; you can also opt out of Google Analytics at Google's opt-out page.
How we use it
We use your details to do the job you asked for, send you booking confirmations, reports and invoices, and keep a service history for your vehicle so we can help you faster next time. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we don't store your card numbers.
Texts, emails and opting out
When you book, buy or get a quote from us we keep your name, contact details and vehicle details so we can do the job and remind you about things like services falling due, work you asked us to hold off on, and occasional offers from Movin Mobile Mechanic and GC Patrols & Mechanical (both run by Gold Coast Patrols & Mechanical, ABN 69 949 440 723). We don't sell or share your details with anyone else for marketing.
Every marketing text says "Reply STOP" and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link — either takes effect straight away. You'll still get messages about your own jobs, bookings and invoices.
Who we share it with
Only the services we need to run the business: our booking and job-card system, accounting software (Xero), payment providers, the SMS and email service that sends our messages, and Google Analytics. Each is bound by its own privacy terms. We never sell your details.
Your details and your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or opt out of marketing at any time. Email sales@gcpatrols.com or call 0434 728 765. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
